We wanted to keep chSMS fairly lean'n'mean. So we recommend implementing a favorites list via a contacts group. Tho' iPhone doesn't support group creation directly, you can do it from Address Book on your mac or Outlook on your PC. Next time you sync, the favorites should be available.
How much credit do I get per month?
This, of course, depends on your cablecom subscription, but here's a snapshot taken from the cablecom web-site on 13th Aug 2010
|hispeed 500||hispeed 2000||Fiber Power 20||Fiber Power 50||Fiber Power 100|
(1000 points equates to about 40 SMSes).
If I have support questions or feature suggestions, what can I do?
We'd love to hear from you. From the application itself you can click on the icon or hyper-link on the credentials screen; then choose Give Feedback to send us an email. Alternatively, you could post something on our facebook page.
Do I have to do any set-up prior to using chSMS?
If you've never sent an SMS via the hispeed Messenger interface, the answer is probably "Yes". You'll need to prep things on the cablecom side first of all (e.g. specifying your mobile number as the reply-to setting).
Again, we chanted our light-weight mantra and didn't add functionality to cover this eventuality. You'd typically do this only once (on the server) and you're done.
